Friday Co. is the creative muse of owners Heather Anderson and Nicole Edhouse. The pair are passionate about the industry and have over 50 years’ experience between them.
Their vision was to create a space that they loved going to work in and that would invite their clients to really relax, unwind and be pampered, knowing they were in the hands of experts.
They had hoped that by building a space that inspired them, it would also be a space that welcomed and inspired other industry professionals and help them to build the talented team of like-minded, driven individuals that make up the Friday Co. work family that exists today.
The team at Friday Co. believe in a tailored approach, providing customised hair and beauty for every individual. Each and every client is different in so many ways, from their appearance to their lifestyle and preferences and we endeavour to enhance your natural and unique beauty.

Meet The Team

Heather is one of Friday Co.'s boss babes and an absolute superstar in our trade. She began her apprenticeship in December 1989.
Heather's career has been very successful to date. She entered & won several competitions early on in her career, traveled to London for salon international & workshops in New York & Paris, and represented Geelong in the National Work Skills Comp ‘92.
After her apprenticeship, she worked in a prestigious Geelong salon for 2.5 years & then bought her own salon which she had for 12.5 years. She was also a teacher for several years, passing on her knowledge and skills to many Geelong apprentices.
In 2010 life had changed, Heather was married, with 2 kids & she sold her successful salon and rented a chair at a Belmont salon, thinking she was done with being “the boss”
It was here that she became a part of a special team, which formed new friendships, and brought together the team that would become her business partners in the next chapter.
April 2014 saw 4 of us open a salon in Newtown & October 2017 our Belmont salon, now known as Friday Co.
which is the place she and her business partner Nicole, now call home.

Alex Furtulla
Alex has been excelling at all things beauty for 13 years now. She is passionate about her work and the ever changing industry and loves to stay on top of current trends. Alex specialises in lashes, in particular lash lifts and lash extensions.
Her favourite part about her job - the relationships she gets to build with her clients.
When Alex isn't in salon, she can be found running around after her 3 gorgeous children and catching up with family and friends.

Chloe Dunstan
Cosmetic Nurse
Chloe joined the Friday Co team in 2021. She began her career in nursing over 10 years ago during which she made the shift into cosmetic nursing. She trained extensively in cosmetic nursing, with qualifications in advanced botox and filler treatments. She has also trained in skin needling, peels, and other medical skin treatments, but doesn't offer this in-salon just yet (watch this space).
Chloe is a busy mum of two young children and a very valued addition to the Friday Co team
Lisa Pigdon
Senior Hairdresser
Lisa has been hairdressing since 2003 and loves all aspects of hairdressing.
She especially loves bridal, special events, and any type of styling. Another favourite is cutting which she definitely excels at.
“I’m a wife and mum of three strong-willed girls, hair is my escape from hectic busy mum life”
Lisa loves spending time with family and friends and being out and about. When she has time to herself you’ll find her doing Pilates, walking, or shopping. She loves beach hangs with her girls too.
Paris Rogulskyj
Makeup Artist & Emerging Hairdresser
Paris has been a makeup artist for 5 years, and a brilliant one at that. She has spent her makeup career working in busy, high-end salons and also doing some freelance work and has honed her skills to perfection. Paris was also trained in hairstyling – blowouts, hair ups, curls, etc – many years ago, and that led to her love of hair. Paris began her apprenticeship in early 2021 and is loving all aspects of her training, from high fashion colour to cutting and advanced styling.
Nicole Edhouse
Managing Director & Senior Hairdresser
Nic is a co-founder of the Friday Co. brand and absolutely loves both her hairdressing and the challenge of running the salon.
She began her career in Geelong in 1996 and received several awards throughout her apprenticeship.
Nicole has now worked for over 23yrs in salons in Australia and the UK and is still very much invested in her hairdressing career.
From 2003 Nic owned a successful salon for 6 years with her then business partner and still dear friend, and it is still definitely a highlight of her career.
After selling the business she continued to work freelance for herself and found herself surrounded by an amazing team of passionate people, some of whom she was fortunate enough to call her business partners for 6 years following the opening of their two salons. Now focusing solely on the since rebranded Friday Co.
Over her career Nic has always participated in continuous training and has been awarded places in many competitions including bridal, styling & cutting.
Brittany Frith
Senior Hairdresser
With 14 years of industry experience, Brit is very passionate about her work.
Her love is all things colour, from a simple chocolate brown to a beautiful balayage.
“My career highlight is having the opportunity to work for myself in a wonderful environment”
And her enthusiasm for our art and for meeting new clients really shows.
“Ever since I was just a little girl, whenever I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, it was always a hairdresser!”
Brittany is a very family-oriented person, with her biggest life achievement being her two little people!
Brit has traveled extensively through Europe, Bali, Thailand, New Zealand, and lots of Australia and can’t wait to do more.
Hayley Brooks
Beauty Therapist
Hayley has extensive experience in all things beauty therapy. She has been working in the industry for over 17 years. Beginning her study in Horsham, before moving to Bendigo to further her career and then to Geelong, where she has worked for several years growing her skillset and gaining even more experience to bring you the very best service possible.
Hayley specialises in facial and body waxing, spray tanning, lash lifting and tinting, and also brow lamination and tinting.
When Hayley isn't in the salon, she is busy spending time with her 3 young children and hubby.
Maeve Fraser
Senior Hairdresser
Maeve has been in the industry since late 2019 when she began her apprenticeship with Kath. In that time Maeve has developed her skills and is becoming an amazing young hairdresser. Maeve has keen attention to detail and it shows in her work. Her cutting skills are meticulous and the colour results she achieves are outstanding. Maeve works hard in-salon and also really enjoys attending extra courses and training whenever she can.
In her spare time, Maeve loves spending time with friends and is also a member of a dance crew!
Tyla Miocic
Apprentice Hairdresser
Tyla is our up and coming apprentice. She joined the team in October 2023 and is loving all things hair. Tyla is a wizard at the basin giving the best shampoo experience. She is busy working on styling techniques and mastering her blow dry and curling. She is bubbly and outgoing and will make your salon experience a delightful one.

Jacqui Norton-Bee
Jacqui is our amazing salon coordinator at Friday Co. Belmont. She originally joined the team as the owner of Geelong Laser Tattoo Removal in October 2017. After selling her business in December 2018, we couldn’t let her get away, so she stepped into the role of salon coordinator and we’re so glad she did. Jacqui has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Japanese. She is a mum of two boys and loves going on holidays with her family, reading, and seeing live music with her husband.
She is a superstar around the salon and one of the first people you'll meet when you enter the salon.

Senior Hairdresser & Makeup Artist
Chelsea has been hairdressing for over 15 years. She has worked in a few different salons around Geelong and in doing so, has learned skills and made special friendships with many talented hairdressers. Chelsea has a bright and bubbly, outgoing personality and really enjoys meeting and getting to know people.
Chelsea has an amazing ability to make people feel comfortable, welcome, and at ease.
Chelsea’s specialty is colour, she loves doing blondes and having some fun with bright, high fashion colours. She also specialises in makeup for weddings and special occasions to photo shoots and collaborations.
Chelsea Smith
Kath has been hairdressing for 22 years and has been a very successful salon owner for 15 of those years. She recently joined the Friday Co team and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience and an extremely high skill level in every aspect of hairdressing.
Kath's cutting skills are exceptional, and the colour work that leaves her chair is nothing short of beautiful.
When Kath isn’t in-salon making people beautiful, she is a busy mum of two gorgeous boys.

Senior Hairdresser
Melanie is a passionate colour Specialist and an expert in styling and cutting of hair of all lengths.
She’s down to earth with a fun sense of humour and a perfectionist in everything she does, which is really reflected in the work she does in the salon.
Blondes of all shades are her thing, bright beachy blondes, natural balayage, and sandy summer highlights with strong attention to detail.
“I Love Crazy colour corrections at any extreme. I don't shy away from a challenge”
On her days off Melanie loves the beach sun and the waves, with my three little beach babes.
Hayley Dyson
E-Commerce Manager
Hayley began her role at Friday Co as one of our wonderful salon coordinators in 2019.
She has since moved into the role of managing our e-commerce store remotely.
Hayley studied and worked in childcare before having her first baby in 2009. From then, she stayed at home and juggled mum life with 3 kids, as well as working on her small wooden toy business that she and her sister ran very successfully for about 3 years.
As a family with young kids, Hayley and her family love traveling together. They’ve been to some pretty amazing places but put camping in Botswana on the top of our all-time best moments so far.
